Purity

In the years God has been called many things, wonderful maker, true lover, a good friend, and many more. Well, these all are true but there is one major character of God we often fail to grasp but we witness in our daily lives, the fact that God is a good teacher. Many times we seek for new things; we don't want to go through the path already set for us. We always ask” what's wrong with doing it this way? my way? “, and we all know the consequences we faced afterwards. I saw this movie the other day and it amazed me in some ironic way. The movie is basically about this couple who tried to avoid the so called marriage and parenting. They decided to skip marriage because their friends have gotten “too busy” after they had children. So what they do is they create a short cut out of marriage. I have to admit looking into one of my fiend's laptop the other day with a five episode series entitled "grace vs. work ". I couldn't help on thinking that this issue is the contemporary christian heartbeat here in Jimma,,Ethiopia. On another occasion, while having coffee with my fellows, I noticed that the issue of grace of prophecy is another burning issue in the church. Honestly, its true that this grace, severely abused in Ethiopian protestant churches, is hurting many everyday.
